At HistoSpring, our mission has always been to empower groundbreaking research through exceptional histology and biorepository services. In 2024, we’ve not only met this goal but surpassed it. By broadening our board of directors and investing in cutting-edge biomedical technology, we’ve elevated our offerings, ensuring that our research partners receive expert support and achieve higher-quality results than ever before.
Sharper Images, Brighter Insights
HistoSpring researchers are freed from the limitations of traditional immunohistochemical analysis thanks to this year’s acquisition of the Leica Bond RXm. The automated immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) staining platform offers unparalleled precision and speed, allowing researchers deeper insights into tissue samples with unmatched clarity. Additionally, our investment in the Aperio CS2 slide scanner and the HALO AI image software unlocks a new level of digital tissue analysis. These advanced tools capture high-resolution digital images of slides, enabling detailed quantitative analysis, seamless data sharing, and effortless collaboration with colleagues across the globe.
A World-Class Biorepository with Expanding Possibilities
HistoSpring has designed its biorepository & cancer models services to accelerate progress in the fight against cancer. As of this year, our donor Breast Research Registry collection expanded to over 650 FFPE and frozen breast tissues, most with matching plasma and buffy coat. Furthermore, our ovarian tissue collection has grown to approximately 130 samples, also accompanied by matching plasma and buffy coat. This vast library of meticulously curated tissue opens exciting new avenues for researchers investigating breast and ovarian cancers.
Stain More and Save More in 2025
The new year is shaping up to be an exciting year for HistoSpring and our research partners. We will continue to provide exceptional service and state-of-the-art tools, but we’re also thrilled to announce exclusive deals to help manage research costs. Here is a preview of ways to save in 2025:
- BOGO H&E for Pre-Sectioned Slides: Double your staining power! Purchase one H&E for your pre-sectioned slides and receive a second stain of equal or lesser value for free.
- IHC Order Boost: For every IHC order of 15 or more slides, get an additional five slides stained completely complimentary (Please note: This offer applies to previously optimized antibodies and does not include multiplexing).

Giving Hope Through Community Partners
At HistoSpring, we believe in fostering strong partnerships that advance the fight against cancer. We’re proud to collaborate with organizations like Rays of Hope (ROH), a charity that supports breast cancer patients and survivors and encourages new research initiatives.
We recently had the pleasure of supporting their fundraising event at the St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Springfield, MA. The event was a resounding success, filling the cathedral with a spirit of community and hope. It served as a powerful reminder of the collective impact we can make by working together. Along with each of our community partners, we strive to provide researchers with the tools they need to unlock scientific breakthroughs and offer essential support to those battling the disease.
Happy Holidays
Thank you for your continued partnership and biomedical research for patient advocacy. We look forward to building on our current collective efforts and making an even greater impact in 2025. Best wishes for a joyful and fulfilling holiday season and start to the new year.
